Lease Administration Manager

A boutique property management company based in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a Leasing Manager, responsible for overseeing the lease agreement process. This position is heavily administrative, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of lease agreements. The Leasing Manager will ensure all lease documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze lease agreements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage the lease lifecycle, including renewals, terminations, and amendments.
  • Ensure lease agreements are in compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of all lease agreements (commercial and residential) and related documents.
  • Collaborate with property managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues related to lease agreements.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on lease status, occupancy rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of leasing policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on lease agreement processes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in lease management or a similar role within the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of lease agreements, including terms, conditions, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Needs to have confidence to deal with lease changes.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
